Gothmund

Where time seems to stand still: In the idyllic fishing village Gothmund besides the river "Trave", every brick tells a story. It is a perfect destination for a bike ride along the "Trave" or as a stopover on the way to "Travemünde" (estuary mouth of the Trave in the baltic sea). The bus number 12 runs every 20 minutes from central bus station or from Gustav-Radbruch-Platz.

Make it a short or even longer trip to the south of Sweden! Trelleborg is a few hours away from Travemünde, using the TT-Line.

Karl’s farmyard of experiences

This wonderful farm-cafe is a nice destination - not necessarily in times of strawberry harvest: There is a giant coffee garden and surved homemade cakes throughout the whole summer. At the farmers market next door there are many handmade gifts and goodies. In the Advent season will take place a beautiful Christmas market inside of the decorated barn.

Sea Life Centre

Delve into the fascinating underwater world! Covering an area of 1,500 square meters, passing 36 lifelike and varied aquariums, the Sea Life Centre presents the richness and beauty of native and tropical seas. Stroll through the ocean tunnel and experience the animals closely in the "tropical lagoon of sharks". Every day there are excitig oral presentations, feedings and other attractions.

Vogelpark Niendorf

Surrounded by the nature reserve Aalbeck-Niederung there is Germanies most natural birth park. Its landscape is determined by reed beds and ponds and you can see a varity of rarities, such as various cranes, storks, herons, pelicans, as well as parrot, pheasants, eagles, vultures and the largest collection of living owls.

Eutin

The city of roses "Eutin", located in the natural reserve of the "Holsteinische Schweiz", is only half an hour away from Luebeck by car. From the old watertower you have a fantastic overview through the area.

Outdoor Museum Molfsee in Kiel

A living muserum: Craftsmen and artists present at the outdoor museum Molfsee, located at the edge of town, how people worked and lived onces in the past. Hamburg - The gate to the world

Enjoy the atmosphere of the vibrant city at the river "Elbe". Visit elegant shopping malls having world class at the "Binnenalster" and stroll along the "sinfullest mile in the world", the "Reeperbahn". Hamburg, the northern metropolis awaits you!
